Overview
Join us for an inspiring Chief Audit Club session with Gwendolyne Verstraelen, Chief Risk Executive at DAS Insurance.
Gwendolyne will share her perspective on IIA Global’s Risk in Focus 2026 and the evolving role of Internal Audit in Enterprise Risk Management, the recently published position paper of IIA Global.
Drawing on her experience as a CAE, board member, and insurance-industry leader, she will offer practical and strategic insights on:
1. Which risks highlighted in Risk in Focus 2026 may still be underestimated by Belgian organisations?
2. How can Internal Audit effectively challenge and support management in Enterprise Risk Management—without taking ownership of risk?
3. What does an effective dialogue on emerging risks between the board, management and Internal Audit look like?
A valuable exchange for Belgium’s Chief Audit Executives—don’t miss it.
