Prerequisites 

For some training, prerequisites are specified in the description of the program. If you need more details, send us an email at info@iiabel.be 

Number of participants 

For most training, the number of participants is limited to 16. 

Documentation 

Supporting documents (slides, readings,..) are distributed to all participants. For some training, books are given. 

Content of the training 

The content is tailored to the needs of the participants and is in constant evolution. Therefore, IIA Belgium reserves the right to modify the program without prior notification. 

Organization of the training 

All trainings are organized at the IIA Belgium Offices by the IA Belgium VZW Pegasuslaan 5 1831 Diegem  (administration office IIA Belgium), VAT BE0429.642.395. 

Coffee breaks and lunches are provided for each full day session. The time schedule is from 9 am until 5 pm.

Cancellation / Schedule changes of training by IIA Belgium 

At times, it might be necessary to cancel or reschedule training. The IIA will provide advance notice of any change and, in doing so, will not be entitled to indemnities related to the cancelling or rescheduling of training. 

Registration process

 A participation is only registered when the on line subscription form is fully completed. 

Registration confirmation 

You will be notified of your acceptance with a confirmation notice sent to you within 10 days after the registration has been received. An invoice will be sent to the billing address within 10 days after the registration has been received. It is required that IIA Belgium receives the payment of the invoice prior to the date of training. Persons who did not pay beforehand will not be authorized to attend the training unless they can demonstrate that the payment has been processed. 

CPE requirements 

The IIA Educational programs are accepted for fulfilling Continuing Professional Education (CPE) requirements. The training programs are also eligible for IDAC/IEC Credits. CPEs certificates will be sent by email automatically 2 weeks after the training at the latest. 

Cancellation by the participants 

Cancellation must be notified in writing and must be sent by email to info@iiabel.be. Participant to trainings, payable workshops or other payable events may cancel without any fees or penalties due until one month before the event. 

  • If Participant cancels his registration within one month before the event, fees are payable as described in the calendar below: 
    • If cancelled between one month and two weeks before the event, 25% of the fee is due and payable. 
    • If cancelled between two weeks and one week before the event, 50% of the fee is due and payable. However, a complete set of documentation will be sent to the participant. 
    • If cancelled within one week before the event, 100% of the fee is due and payable. However, a complete set of documentation will be sent to the participant. 

Each participant may be replaced by a colleague, subject to membership, at no cost as long as the change is confirmed by writing at least 3 days before the training.

For conferences: 

Cancellations must be notified in writing. Cancellations received 30 days prior to the conference will receive a full refund. Cancellations received from 30 days to 10 days prior to the conference will receive a refund less 30 Euro administration fee (excl VAT). Cancellations received within 10 days prior to the conference will forfeit the registration fee paid. A substitute delegate will be accepted at no extra charge, subject to membership status, if advised in writing. Transfer of refunds to any other IIA products or services are not permitted. 

For free workshops: 

Cancellation must be notified in writing at least 3 days before the workshop. In case of noshown an administration fee for catering of 20 Euro (excl VAT) will be charged. Each participant may be replaced by a colleague, subject to membership, at no cost as long as the change is confirmed by writing at least 3 days before the workshop. 

For free events: 

General Assembly: Cancellation must be notified in writing at least 20 days before the event. In case of noshown an administration fee for catering of 70 Euro (excl VAT) will be charged. Each participant may be replaced by a colleague, subject to membership, at no cost as long as the change is confirmed by writing at least 3 days before the event. 

New Year Event: Cancellation must be notified in writing at least 8 days before the event. In case of no-shown an administration fee for catering of 35 Euro (excl VAT) will be charged. Each participant may be replaced by a colleague, subject to membership, at no cost as long as the change is confirmed by writing at least 3 days before the event. 

Prices 

All the prices indicated are exclusive VAT and before any discount (see special conditions) . The VAT rate applicable is the one at the date of the registration. The price includes access to the seminar, handouts, lunch and coffee -breaks. The members’ prices are valid for IIA Belgium members. 

Registration special conditions 

Special discounts like an early bird rate or group discount may be applicable and are always clearly indicated on the website. It is the right of IIA Belgium to exclude particular trainings from the discount calculation.

Billing address 

The invoice is sent by the IAA (see Organization of the training above) to the billing address indicated on the registration document. Please be aware that any change in the invoice data after issuing of the invoice based on your choice will be subject to an administrative fee of 30 euro excl. VAT

Registration confirmation 

Your registration will be confirmed by e-mail as soon as the online registration has been made. An invoice will be sent to the billing address selected by you within 10 days after the registration has been received. Any change in the invoice data after issuing of the invoice based on your choice will be subject to an administrative fee of 30 euro excl. VAT. 

The IIABEL will transfer your registration to IIA Inc. after the payment has been received. Access to the Pearson VUE Test Center will be possible after reception of the authorization to test from IIA Inc. The registration is 6 months. After this period, the registration will expire, the registration fee will be forfeited and you will be required to re-register for this exam. 

Cancellation by the participants 

Cancellation is not possible after receipt of your payment. For any cancellations received before payment of the invoice an administrative fee of 30 euro (VAT excluded) will be charged. Cancellation requests must be made in writing and must be sent by email to certification@iiabel.be.

Registration with a company purchase order 

If a purchase order is required from your company, we ask you not to enroll before the purchase order has been issuing. Purchase order number must be indicated in the remarks of your online registration form. Company purchase order can also be uploaded online at the time of your registration. Any changes in the invoice after issuing the invoice will be subject to an administrative fee of 30 euro excl. VAT.). Cancellation is not possible after receipt of the authorization to test. 

Prices 

All the prices indicated are exclusive VAT. The VAT rate applicable is the one at the date of the registration. The members’ prices are valid for IIA Belgium and ISACA Belgium members.

Membership registration confirmation

 Your registration for membership will be confirmed by e-mail as soon as the registration has been made. An invoice will be sent to the billing address selected by you within 5 days after the registration has been received. 

Membership period

 The membership period will always be one year and will start on the first day of the month following the membership request, however the membership benefits will only run as of receipt of the payment. 

Cancellations

  •  If a membership is not cancelled in written before 31/12, the membership will automatically be renewed and the invoice is payable. Cancellation is not possible after online request of a membership. 
  • For members leaving an Internal Audit group membership in the course of membership year, no reimbursement will be made, but replacements are possible without any additional costs. 
  • All rights are attached to the party that has paid the membership fee. 
  • An administration fee of 30 euro excl. VAT. will be charged to individual members who cancel their membership and become member again. 

Billing address 

The invoice is sent to the billing address indicated on the membership application form. Please be aware that in any case changes in the invoice address after issuing the invoice will be subjected to an administrative fee of 30 euro excl. VAT.
