Jack Hamande is Director General of the Belgian National Crisis Centre (NCCN), under the FPS Interior.

The NCCN operates across the entire risk cycle, encompassing risk analysis, critical entities, preparedness, emergency planning, effective crisis management, and resilience. Crisis management in Belgium operates on multiple levels, from municipal to provincial, and ultimately federal level. When a federal-level emergency is declared, the NCCN takes charge of coordinating all relevant ministries and crisis management actors.

Jack has held various executive positions both in the private and public sectors at Verizon, BIPT (Belgian Regulator in charge of electronic communications, network security, ..), Federal Public Services (FPS) Bosa in charge of digitalization (trust services, applications, AI,..). At the international level, as a Belgian representative, he has been actively involved in the European Commission, BEREC, UPU, and ITU works..

Raphaël Schair is a Director at KPMG Advisory with 20 years of experience in risk management, internal audit, and internal control across the corporate and public sectors.

He co-leads Operational Resilience services, supporting organizations in designing and implementing business continuity and resilience frameworks through all-hazards risk assessments, resilience gap analyses, governance and operating model design, resilience planning, incident management and escalation frameworks, crisis management and business continuity improvements, tabletop exercises and simulations, third-party and supply chain resilience assessments, and the integration of CER, NIS2, DORA, and broader operational resilience requirements into a coherent compliance framework.

Pierre Winand has been CFO of Theramex, a specialist pharmaceutical company focusing on women’s health, since 2020.

He began his career in 1989 at KPMG as an audit manager and moved to the Interbrew Group in 1999, where he eventually became Vice-President of Finance for Western Europe.

From 2006 to 2015, Pierre Winand was CFO and a member of the Executive Committee at bpost. He subsequently became Group CEO and CFO at Chemicalinvest BV in the Netherlands, before returning to bpost in 2019 as President & CEO of bpost Americas in the USA.

Pierre Winand holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from the Hautes Études Commerciales in Liège.

Szandra Nagyné-Komócsi is Chief Risk Officer of Euroclear Bank and a member of the Euroclear Bank Management Committee and Board, and the Euroclear Group Extended Management Committee.

Previously, Ms. Komócsi headed the team of risk managers, within the Corporate Risk division, responsible for developing and implementing Euroclear’s risk management framework, recovery & resolution planning capabilities and established the model validation function.

Ms. Komócsi first joined Euroclear in September 2010, in Internal Audit where she held various positions.

Prior to Euroclear, Ms. Komócsi was a manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers Reviseurs d’Enterprises scrl, Belgium.

Ms. Komócsi holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the University of Debrecen in Hungary and she is a chartered accountant. 

Ms. Komócsi is also active in the Jane Goodall Institute Belgium, where she supports tree planting activities for the organisation protecting the chimpanzees, their habitat, and our planet.
