ECIIA Annual Conference 2026

Call for Speakers!
Internal Audit at Europe’s Crossroads

On behalf of the ECIIA Annual Conference Committee, we are delighted to announce that the ECIIA Conference 2026 will take place on October 15–16, 2026 at the Sheraton Brussels Airport.

This year’s theme is: Internal Audit at Europe’s Crossroads

We are building a thought-leadership program around the risks identified in the Risk in Focus 2026 report. To deliver a truly impactful agenda, we invite each National Institute to nominate keynote speakers whose experience aligns with one or more of the following six risk domains:

1.      Cybersecurity and Data Security

2.      Human Capital, Talent Management, Diversity and Retention

3.      Digital Disruption, New Technology and Artificial Intelligence

4.      Macroeconomic, Social and Geopolitical Uncertainty

5.      Changes in Laws & Regulations

6.      Climate, Biodiversity and Environmental Sustainability

We are particularly interested in speakers who can:

·  Present practical internal audit insights, case studies or lessons learned in these risk areas.

·  Offer strategic guidance on how internal audit can add value in organizations navigating these challenges;

·  Engage the audience in English, in formats such as keynotes, panels or interactive breakout sessions.

Please submit your speaker nominations by November 24, 2025, including:

·  Name, title, and organization,

·  Area(s) of risk expertise (from the six domains above),

·  A short biography (or link to a public profile),

·  Suggested session format (keynote, panelist, breakout),

·  Proposed topic or title, if known,

·  Feedback from previous keynotes / workshops the speaker performed at your institute.

Send the nominations to eciia2026@iiabelgium.org with the subject line: “ECIIA 2026 Speaker Nomination – [Your Institute Name]”
